Upcoming Events for You!

The following are upcoming events that we think you will enjoy:

*Beginning Sunday, June 7th, we will be going to 2 Services. We will have a service at 8:15 am and 10:30 am. Sunday school will be from 9:30 – 10:15.

*Young at Heart – the Young at Heart (60+) will meet each Tuesday at 1:00 PM in the church gym for games and socializing. Please join the group for a great time of fellowship!

*Prayer Meetings – Each Wednesday evening, a small group meets in the Sanctuary to pray for revival at 6:30 PM. Everyone is welcome to join!

*Help Needed…We are in need of scripture readers and greeters for the 2nd services (beginning June 7th). Sign-up sheets are on the table in the foyer. Thank you for your willingness to serve.

*The first Sunday of each month we will be collecting specific item for the Food Pantry. This is a great way to help others in our community.  The month of May will be canned fruit and juice.

*The church board will meet on Wednesday, June 10th. Elders will meet at 6:30 and full board will meet at 7:00 pm.

*Crossroads Youth Center needs 2 volunteers from MCC for Monday and Thursday of the third week of each month from 3:15-5:30 pm. If you have any questions or can help, please see Haran Ziebart or Tricia Huff.

*Attention Graduates! We would like to honor our Graduates in the bulletin and June Newsletter. If you know of someone graduating from Jr. High, High School or College this year, please leave a note on your connection card or call Julie in the church office at 815-889-4474. Thank you!

*Sharon Hoy is in need of cardboard rolls from paper towels for a project at camp. Please bring them to the church by June 28th. Thanks.

*The offering collected on Sunday, June 7th will be given to Prairie States Christian Camp.

*If you want to use the wifi, please connect to eero guest and password mccfamily.

*The CrossRoads Youth Center can use donations of snacks and drinks.  To donate items or financial contributions, please contact Carol Highfill or leave at MCC marked “Youth Center”.

*We are in need of scripture readers and greeters for two services beginning June 7th. Please see the sign-up sheets on the table in the foyer. Thank you for your willingness to serve.

*Looking for ways to help serve?? The Church is in need of help with operating a camera and computer for the streaming of services on Sunday mornings. If you are interested, contact Brent.

King’s Club

King’s Club is an after-school program for preschool to 5th grade on Wednesday afternoons following school dismissal at 3:30 pm.
